Description

This is a 35 hour per week position and is benefit eligible. 

 

 

Under the supervision of the MTSS coordinator and academic specialist team, the MTSS system paraprofessional will: 

 

Description

  • Administer diagnostic assessments 
  • Input diagnostic assessment data into building spreadsheets
  • Lead targeted intervention small groupds 
  • Support 504 testing accomodations 
  • Coordinate before and after school tutoring program (if applicable) 
  • May be asked by the building Principal to substitute teach in a classroom when other subs are not available.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings during school hours.  Before and after school staff meetings are optional.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 Education and/or Experience:

  • Certification preferred 

 

Language Skills: 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from the community, regulatory agencies or staff members.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and ledgers.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Position requires sustained periods of sitting and working on computer and office equipment.  

Position requires standing and walking throughout buildings.

Position involves frequent repetitive action on a keyboard.
